Jefferson College Library collects texts that will assist you with veterinary technology research. We have a collection of reference titles on Reserve for the veterinary technology students that may be checked-out and used in the library for limited amounts of time, and we have books in the circulating collection that may be checked out and kept for many weeks. Remember to have your Jefferson College Student ID with you whenever you want to check out library materials, even if you just want to make copies of the pages.
Use the Jefferson College Library (Locate) and MOBIUS OpenRS catalogs to find books for your research. The MOBIUS catalog will give you the ability to search some of the larger college and university libraries for expanded coverage of veterinary science topics. Ask a Librarian for help if you need assistance with navigation of either one of these catalogs.
eBooks are available anywhere you have internet access and may be read from a web browser or downloaded and read offline. Find all kinds of eBooks through the library's new search tool, Discovery. Simply search for your topic, then use the Source Types filter on the left side of the page to limit your results to eBooks. You'll get instant access to thousands of eBooks from multiple databases.
To read eBooks off campus, login to MyJeffco first, then use the Library tab or navigate to the library website to get to the Discovery Layer. Ask a Librarian if you need any assistance.
The Course Reserves are located behind the Circulation Desk and their shorter check out periods and restricted use ensure that they are available for the largest number of Veterinary Technology students as possible.
