Why Use eBooks?

With eBooks, users may have the option to:

  • Download eBooks onto their personal electronic devices (e.g., smartphones, laptops, tablets)
  • Print, email, or save certain chapters or pages (typically up to 60 pages)
  • Search for specific phrases or keywords within the text of the eBook
  • Save favorite titles to their personal bookshelf
  • Place holds on eBooks that are currently checked out

What Do I Need?

Basically any smart/internet-enabled device! eBooks can be read online through internet browsers or via an app, if applicable. Depending how you access your eBooks and the device you're using to read them, you may be able to download titles directly to your device -- that way, you don't have to worry about needing consistent internet access to read your eBooks.
