Image of a closed fist with a rainbow transposed over itLGBTQ+ is an organization that exists to promote equality for all humans, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation. This group is formed of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, questioning, queer, intersex, and asexual individuals and those with related sexual and gender identities as well as allies. We seek to raise awareness of issues relevant to queer communities, as well as broader issues of acceptance and social justice. Membership in this club is confidential to protect the safety of students. Allies as well as all LGBTQIA individuals are welcome to join and attend meetings. We have been a part of campus life since 2015, and organize events like Transgender Day of Remembrance, Jeffco Pride, and regular online meetups. 

The Trevor Project

The Trevor Project logoThe Trevor Project is the leading suicide prevision and crisis intervention nonprofit organization for LGBTQ+ young people 24/7, all year round. By providing crisis services, conducting research and public education, and advocating for LGBTQ+ rights, the Trevor Project paves a path forward for LGBTQ+ young people. Advocates for Trans Equality

Advocate for Trans Equality logoAdvocates for Trans Equality fights for the legal and political rights of transgender people in America. Leveraging decades of experience on the frontlines of power, we shift government and society towards a future where we are no less than equal. Our policy experts, litigators, and community organizers work at all levels of government to ensure trans voices are not only heard, but embraced in rooms where they've long been ignored. As a trans-led nonprofit, we also help our community navigate the realities of law and policy through vital tools, knowledge, and services. Founded when the National Center for Transgender Equality (NCTE) and Transgender Legal Defense and Education Fund (TLDEF) merged in 2024.

The Human Rights Campaign fights to make equality, equity and liberation a reality for all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people. As the nation’s largest LGBTQ+ civil rights organization, we drive impact by inspiring, engaging and mobilizing millions of pro-equality voters and supporters to elect pro-equality leaders and to demand equity-based policies and legislation; changing hearts and minds through programming that increases understanding, visibility and support for the diverse LGBTQ+ community in all aspects of our identities; and transforming the institutions and systems that shape our everyday lives by advancing LGBTQ+ inclusive policies and practices in schools, workplaces, hospitals, communities and beyond. We strive to serve, unite, strengthen, and empower trans people by creating visibility, providing education, and promoting positive change in St. Louis and beyond.

GLSEN

GLSEN logoGLSEN believes that every student has the right to a safe, supportive, and LGBTQ-inclusive K-12 education. We are a national network of educators, students, and local GLSEN Chapters working to make this right a reality. GLSEN works to ensure that LGBTQ students are able to learn and grow in a school environment free from bullying and harassment. GLAAD

GLAAD logoGLAAD is a non-profit organization focused on LGBTQ advocacy and cultural change. GLAAD works to ensure fair, accurate, and inclusive representation and creates national and local programs that advance LGBTQ acceptance. Serving as a storyteller, media force, resource, and advocate, GLAAD tackles tough issues and provokes dialogue so that authentic LGBTQ stories are seen, heard, and actualized. GLAAD strives to protect all that has been accomplished and helps create a world where everyone can live the life they love.
