This video walks through the process of finding high-quality resources, including books and scholarly articles, through the Library's Discovery tool. It reviews the importance of using library resources and demonstrates how to use filters to narrow down search results for both books and scholarly articles.
For your assignment, you will need to print or screenshot the detailed record of an article and a book.
To print out the record (or save as a PDF):
First, make sure you are on the detailed record page and then use print option in your browser. You may also use the keyboard shortcuts CTRL+P (PC and ChromeOS) or Command+P (Mac).
You can also save to a PDF from the print dialog box. Just change the default printer to "Save as PDF" and it will allow you to choose where to save the PDF on your computer. You can then submit the PDF with the assignment.
To take a screenshot:
PC- Click the window that you want to copy. Press ALT+PRINT SCREEN. Paste (CTRL+V) the image into an Office program or other application like paint. Save the image, and submit it with the assignment.
Mac- shift-command-3 takes a screenshot. Then submit the image with the assignment.
ChromeOS- Alt+s takes a screenshot. Then submit the image with the assignment.
